Zakaria Guot Dau was discovered while studying at university in Kampala, Uganda, after being spotted by a local photographer. He has worked internationally for Adidas, Issey Miyake, Our Legacy and counts the H&M Summer 2024 campaign among his proudest moments, describing the experience of shooting in Rio de Janeiro as unforgettable. Originally from South Sudan, describes his style as chic, elegant, and effortless, with fashion becoming a space where he could express himself while creating a better future. Before modelling, he competed in football, volleyball, and track and field, bringing the same discipline and drive into his work today. He is deeply passionate about agriculture and owns land back home in Uganda, with long term plans to expand his farm and support his community through sustainable food projects.
